Visiting Église Saint-Rémi
Not much is known about the church in Saint-Gobert: the white stone choir and the beautiful head end are Gothic. The nave dates mostly from the 16th century, but has traces of Romanesque arcades on only one side. Finally, the keep dates from the time when the building was fortified in the 16th century.
And this church does not have particularly many defensive elements either. However, traces of embrasures can be seen in the escape room on the upper floor of the keep. This can be reached by an external ladder on the south side of the church; today it is made of metal, in former times probably of wood.
It is locked and there is no information on how to get in.
